What do you do when Geography starts putting you to sleep? I built a house. Actually, several.
As the textbook introduced different types of houses, I tore pages from my rough notebooks and turned its words into paper models, walls, windows, roofs! The teacher called it Geography, I treated it like an early design brief. Years later, those little houses are still displayed at my school. The lesson ended, the instinct didn’t.
That childhood workaround became a blueprint for my practice: curiosity first, form second, and never leaving an idea flat when it could have a point of view. Today, that same curiosity moves across my screens as illustrations that speak without words and words that know how to paint a picture.

Illustrator | Visual Communication Designer
Hello. Bonjour. नमस्ते. કેમ છો?
An award-winning conceptual illustrator, visual communicator, and published editorial writer from Mumbai. I earned my M.F.A. in Illustration from SCAD (the Savannah College of Art and Design), where I developed a practice grounded in metaphor, humor, and social commentary.
What I make
I put the everyday on the witness stand. Luxury bags own their owners, social media serves validation by the shot, and ordinary habits are caught red-handed. Through humor, metaphor, and social commentary, I turn modern life’s contradictions into images that land at a glance and linger beyond it.
How I think
That’s where I like to work: somewhere between the punchline and the point. I’m drawn to ideas that feel familiar yet unsettling, the kind that make you pause and say, “Wait...that’s true.”
My strength lies in:
Idea generation and visual problem-solving;
Translating concepts into imagery that works across print, digital, and spatial contexts;
Aligning visual tone with message, audience, and purpose...
Because illustration shouldn’t merely look the part. It should make you look twice.
Where it comes from
When I’m not illustrating, I’m usually writing, people-watching, or collecting the sort of details that become metaphors later.
Additional Certifications:
Complementing an M.F.A. in Illustration Design and a B.Des. in Animation, these credentials extend a multidisciplinary practice across editorial writing, critical visual analysis, user-centered thinking, professional communication, and creative leadership.
